We have been contacted by a number of commoners about isses they have with the RPA. These include:
- Some commoners have been informed by the RPA, that some of their own freehold land is unbeknownst to them registered as common land
- The area used by the RPA to calculate SPS is wrong on a number of commons
- Concerns about making dual claims (SPS and agri-environment schemes) on common land
Our chairman, Julia Aglionby has written to Alan Williams, Head of CAP Policy at Rural Payments Agency to ask him for clarification and we are awating a response.
You can download Julia's letters here.
