Ahead of the impending application for permission to trial the release of Eurasian lynx into the wild in this country, proposed by the Lynx Trust UK in 2015, the National Sheep Association (NSA) has launched a new report - The wider consequences of the introduction of Eurasian lynx to the UK.  NSA  has  a  number  of  concerns  about  this  project,  not  just  because  of  the  anticipated predation on sheep. These concerns are discussed in this paper.

If released it is likely that lynx may roam on actively grazed common land. We believe that it is useful for visitors to this Website to have access to reports such as this one.
